BGCET Joins Community Mitigation Period of Observation

In light of the rising concerns around COVID-19, The Mentoring Alliance's Boys & Girls Club of East Texas has decided to join our local school districts in a Community Mitigation Period from March 16 to March 20. No after-school services will be provided during this time.

Community Mitigation Periods are intervention strategies recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to help slow the potential spread of illness in communities, like COVID -19.

We will continue to approach this situation with a vibrant faith, and evaluate the situation and our options during next week. We will communicate any updates as we determine next steps.
