Dakota Dossett comes to us from East Tennessee where he attended 2 years of school at East Tennessee State University. Dakota came to Tyler in the fall of 2017 to attend The Forge at Pine Cove where he grew in leadership and discipleship. He is now finishing his degree in behavioral sciences at the University of Texas at Tyler. He anticipates his graduation in December of 2019.
Dakota started at The Mentoring Alliance as the program director for Rose City Summer Camps in the summer of 2018. He then transitioned from summer campt to the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Texas as the site director at Jack for the 2018-2019 school year before serving as the Site Coordinator for Rose City in the summer of 2019. Dakota now joins the full-time team immediately as an Area Director for the Boys and Girls Club of East Texas!
Deuteronomy 6:5 gives Dakota his life direction: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.” He is excited to live this out while being a vessel that the Lord uses to speak the Gospel into the lives of college staff, children, and families.
