Caitlin was born and raised in Northport, Alabama. She graduated from The University of Alabama in 2015 with her Bachelors in Social Work (Roll Tide!). Caitlin worked as a Licensed Bachelors Social Worker for a year and a half as she pursued a certificate in Pastoral Leadership from Highlands College. While in Highlands College, Caitlin felt the call to East Texas to help plant Church of the Pines in Tyler.
In May of 2017, she joined staff at Camp Cho-Yeh as a Work Crew Boss in Livingston, Texas. During the summer she accepted a position to stay for a full year in Cho-Yeh's Waypoint Leadership Program! The program focuses on a Lifetime of Ministry, Leadership Development, Personality Assessments and Living in Community! Caitlin commuted to Tyler for a year and a half to help prep and launch Church of the Pines. Immediately after her internship she left for a six-week mission trip to East Asia! Upon returning to America she officially moved to Tyler, Texas and joined the Mentoring Alliance Team! (Yes, her interview process started in China)!
Currently, Caitlin is pursuing her Master's in Divinity with a focus on Biblical Studies through Liberty University Online. Her hope is to serve and equip the Gospel Village Team, Carlton and Kilton with grace and excellence. Her greatest desire as she serves at TMA is to love people well and equip the team to bring tangible help and eternal hope to East Texas!
