Chelsea Jacobs

Chelsea grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee before coming to Texas in 2008. She worked at Pine Cove Christian Camps for several years before becoming a teacher at Whitehouse Junior High. As a creative advocate who loves serving children, this was an amazing experience of being involved in the community of East Texas. After 4 years of teaching, Chelsea felt led to leave the classroom, so she could focus on volunteering and cultivating relationships outside of work. God led her to work as an Executive Assistant for Jasper Ventures, a Kingdom-minded gas processing company in Whitehouse, TX. Here, Chelsea learned that she has not only been gifted with a heart for children, but also with talents in organization and administration.

After getting married to her amazing husband and best friend, David, in 2019, Chelsea began praying that God would lead her to a career that utilized all of the gifts that have been given to her. God answered that prayer in February 2020 by leading her to The Mentoring Alliance as the Foundation and Grant Coordinator. She cares deeply for TMA and its mission to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, to provide tangible help and eternal hope, and loves partnering with Foundations who are like-minded and able to fund this mission.

She and her husband, David, have volunteered with Young Life Tyler in different capacities since 2012. As members of Grace Community Church, they both serve as volunteers – David with the A/V team, and Chelsea with the kid’s ministry.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10
