Julie Connor and her family moved into the Tyler community in 2010. She, her husband Tim, daughter Kelsey, and son Jackson quickly fell in love with this East Texas town and its people. Julie has a BS in music education from Pensacola Christian College. She has been using her administrative skills and passion for serving people at Grace Community Church and School since coming to Tyler. Julie loves serving at Grace, including leading family mission trips to Nicaragua, discipling women in the Word, and connecting people in the body.
Julie joined The Mentoring Alliance in 2017. Julie and her family were part of the initiative that eventually became Gospel Village. They have been mentoring a brother and sister pair since 2011, so she feels working for TMA is coming full circle. Julie is excited about the opportunity to make an impact for the Gospel here in East Texas through The Mentoring Alliance. Julie says of her position, "I love the amazing people I get to serve with each day as we seek to mobilize godly people together to provide tangible help and eternal hope to kids and families. Eternal hope makes all the difference."
