Louise is originally from McKinney, Texas, but ended up in Waco to attend Baylor University. She graduated from Baylor in 2019 with a BA in Spanish and minors in religion and social work. While at Baylor, she met her husband, Coleman, a student at Baylor's Truett Seminary, and they married in August 2019. He is now a local church pastor, and they love serving in ministry together.
Louise has had a passion for missions since she was in high school and felt called to love others for Christ through meeting real needs and sharing the hope of Christ. She served as an Assistant Trip Leader for Praying Pelican Missions in Puerto Rico in the summer of 2018, connecting local pastors with teams from the state's in-service partnerships.
From 2018 to 2019, Louise served as an intern to the Missions Pastor at First Woodway Baptist Church, through which she was connected with the director of the Boys and Girls Club of Waco. Upon graduation, Louise began working for the Boys and Girls Club of Waco as a Unit Director, where she remained for two years until joining the Mentoring Alliance team.
She feels the gospel mission of MA, in combination with meeting the needs of families through our programs, is truly an answer to prayer for the Waco community, and she is so excited to be a part of it!
