"It's All in the Lord's Plan..."

Meet Lizthebett Valdiva from Austin, TX! Liz just finished her sophomore year at the University of Houston where she is studying Computer Science. Liz heard about Mentoring Alliance Summer Camps through the Baptist Student Union at college. Not knowing anyone in Tyler, and never having been here, Liz and her sister, Victoria, came to serve at-risk kids for four weeks.

Liz has been part of work crew at our Hubbard location. She has enjoyed serving camp in a variety of ways, including translating, subbing for counselors, and joining campers in activities. Liz says about camp, "It's something I wouldn't expect, but I really love. It's all in the Lord's plan because I wouldn't be able to plan this out myself!"

We're so blessed to have Christ-led staff who share the love of Christ with our campers each summer!
