Making Futures Bright
It’s hard to believe that we are reaching the end of 2020! This time of year is often consumed with the warmth of family time, the community sparkling with lights, and the sound of sweet children’s voices as they portray the birth of our Saviour. So much of what we’ve always done to celebrate the season has been canceled or altered in some way, making the season feel dim.
Years from now, we’re going to look back at this unreal season we’re all currently living through. We’ll remember the concern, the fear, or even the panic.
But we’ll also remember how we responded.
This past year, we've had the incredible opportunity to invest in thousands of kids and their families through our 3 programs and partner with parents in nurturing the faith and character of their children, making their futures brighter!
We want to continue to do that for many more children, and we'll need your support. We are happy to announce the launch of our end of year campaign, Making Futures Bright, as we trust in God's provision to continue our mission.
Our goal for “Making Futures Bright” is $100,000. With your investment, we can bless and serve:
- 70 kids with scholarships for the Mentoring Alliance After School - Boys & Girls Club for the January-May semester
- 320 kids with scholarships for 1 week of Mentoring Alliance Summer Camps
- Fully fund the annual support cost of 6 mentoring relationships in Mentor Connect
Recently, generous friends of Mentoring Alliance made a commitment to inspire giving during this holiday season. Thanks to their pledge, your gift is DOUBLED dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000! So your gift of $50 becomes $100, $500 becomes $1,000, and so on.
We are so proud of these kids and feel a pressing demand to serve many others. Will you brighten the future of kids in our community this Christmas season?
