Myriah is a born and raised Tyler native. After completing a B.A. in Biblical Studies and Urban Ministry at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, Myriah moved back to her hometown to begin working full-time at The Mentoring Alliance as a Summer Camp Site Coordinator in November 2020.
Before working full time, Myriah served as program staff at M.A. in the After School and Summer Camp programs for two school years and four summers. Through her years on the team, Myriah developed a love for the community and the opportunity to bring reconciliation and restoration through the tangible help and eternal hope that the ministry seeks to provide.
Myriah has a passion for learning and hopes to continue growing as a leader and a follower of Christ at M.A. To quote the evangelist D.L. Moody, “There are many of us that are willing to do great things for the Lord, but few of us are willing to do the little things.” Myriah has a strong desire to see the Lord glorified in the little things for M.A.’s ministry!
